Our team of English and Spanish-speaking therapists is trained in trauma-informed care and committed to walking with you at your own pace. We work with individuals facing anxiety, PTSD, and emotional overwhelm, helping them build safety, trust, and hope again. You don’t have to face this alone. Healing is possible — and it can begin today.

You Are Not Alone in ThisIsolation can deepen pain, but God’s love reminds you that you are never truly alone. Whether you feel surrounded by people or isolated in silence, a divine presence walks beside you, offering comfort and strength. There are also others—friends, counselors, support groups—who want to walk with you.Reaching out may feel scary, but connection is a vital part of healing. You are worthy of love and support, and sharing your journey lightens your burden. Today, consider reaching out to someone safe or simply whispering a prayer, knowing that you are held and cared for.Exercise: Sit comfortably and take a slow, deep breath in... then gently breathe out.Take another breath, allowing your shoulders to relax. Now imagine yourself surrounded by a warm, gentle light—a reminder of God's constant presence. Even if you cannot feel it right now, know that you are not walking this journey by yourself.Quietly repeat:"I am not alone.""God is with me in this moment.""I am worthy of love, support, and care."Now bring to mind one safe person—a trusted friend, family member, counselor, pastor, or mentor. If no one comes to mind, simply imagine God's loving presence beside you.Silently ask yourself:"What is one small way I can reach toward connection today?"It could be sending a text, making a phone call, attending a support group, or simply whispering a prayer.Take one final deep breath. As you exhale, remember this truth:You do not have to carry your burdens alone. God walks beside you, and healing grows stronger through love, connection, and the courage to reach out. ...

Rest Is Not a Luxury, It’s a NecessityYour body and soul need rest to heal fully. It is not selfish or lazy to pause and care for yourself—it is essential. After trauma, your nervous system may be on high alert, making rest harder to find, but God’s love calls you to care for yourself tenderly. Rest replenishes your strength and allows healing to deepen.Make space today to rest without guilt or pressure. Whether that means a quiet moment of stillness, a nap, or simply breathing deeply, honor what your body and mind need. Rest is a sacred act of resistance against exhaustion and a gift you give to yourself.Exercise:Find a comfortable position and allow your body to soften.Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose... and gently exhale through your mouth.Again, breathe in... and breathe out, releasing just a little of the tension you may be carrying. Now silently repeat:"In this moment, I give myself permission to rest."Notice any places in your body that feel tight or tired. As you breathe in, imagine God's gentle peace filling those places. As you breathe out, imagine the tension slowly melting away.Quietly say to yourself:"I do not have to earn my rest.""Rest renews my body, my mind, and my spirit.""God invites me to be still and receive His peace."Take one final deep breath, allowing yourself to simply be—without striving, fixing, or proving anything. As you open your eyes, carry this reminder with you:Rest is not a pause in your healing—it is an essential part of it. ...

Your Feelings Are ValidIt is okay to feel whatever arises within you—fear, sadness, anger, hope, or joy. Your emotions are not weaknesses but important signals that tell your story and guide your healing. Sometimes, abuse teaches us to hide or suppress these feelings, but God’s love invites you to honor them all, holding space for each one with compassion and patience.Feelings can be overwhelming, but they also connect you to your true self and to the divine presence that comforts and heals. When you allow yourself to experience your emotions without judgment, you give yourself permission to heal authentically. Today, practice gentle awareness of your feelings, knowing you are safe to feel.ExerciseFind a comfortable position where you feel supported. If it feels safe, gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose... and slowly exhale through your mouth.Again, breathe in deeply... and breathe out, allowing your shoulders to relax. One more gentle breath... inhaling peace... exhaling tension. Now, quietly ask yourself:"What am I feeling right now?"There is no right or wrong answer. You don't have to explain or change anything. Simply notice.Perhaps you feel sadness...Perhaps fear...Perhaps anger...Loneliness...Hope...Relief...Or maybe several emotions are present all at once.Whatever you discover, silently say to yourself:"This feeling is welcome here."Imagine each emotion as a gentle visitor knocking at the door of your heart. Instead of pushing it away, imagine opening the door just enough to acknowledge its presence. You might quietly say:"I see you.""Thank you for showing me what I need.""You do not have to carry this alone anymore."Notice where this feeling lives in your body.Is it in your chest?Your stomach?Your throat?Your shoulders?Without trying to change it, simply breathe into that area with kindness. As you inhale, imagine God's loving presence surrounding that part of you with warmth and light. As you exhale, allow just a little space around the feeling—not to make it disappear, but to remind it that it is being held with love. Now repeat quietly:"My feelings are not my enemy.""My emotions tell my story.""I can feel without being overwhelmed.""God is with me in every emotion."Take one final deep breath. As you breathe in, receive God's compassion. As you breathe out, release any judgment you have toward yourself. When you're ready, gently wiggle your fingers and toes. Before opening your eyes, remember this truth:Every feeling you experience is a part of your healing journey. You do not have to hide your emotions from God. He already knows your heart, loves you completely, and walks beside you through every feeling. As you honor your emotions with gentleness and compassion, you move one step closer to the wholeness He desires for you.Take one last slow breath... and gently return to the present moment. ...
